just got done with a long weekend but an awesome hunt to remember. I stink like goat, have meat in the freezer and get to spend another 12 hours with my best friend since grade school.

Job well done.

Looks like good eating. We really like loper meat but no lopers this year.

I usually have an extra spot or two and there seems to be plenty of deer here. I'm not that far from chickenbuck so the offer is there. That goes for any of you honest hunters looking for a spot.

Hey T, I saw a bear about that size behind my house about 1/2 mile yesterday. Good to see some critters running around now that the crops are coming off here.

CO, I got a text from ND this evening. Didn't sound promising. They're on the way home now and I expect he'll give us the full story upon his return.

Nice stuff Ryan! We have seen hundreds of lopes through northern Colorado and Wyoming.
We are crashing out in a super 8 in Rawlings Wyo. Finishing our trip home tomorrow.
Elk hunting was a bust, but we made some memories, tried like hell.

Pictures later.

Something clever here.

It wasn't a bust then. It's about the hunting, not the kill'n.

Can't wait to see pics.

Sorry to hear of the lack of meat Dave, but it sounds like a great time was had by all, definitely a successful trip.

Its not all about the meat Dave, you should know that. I am sure you guys had a great time otherwise, Time to come back to real world now and join the rest of us. Safe trip Home.

I wouldn't rule that out completely! Though, it wouldn't work out that well for the bear. smile

Did not do the western trip this year. Wife and I might do the guided elk safari into the greater Yellowstone area next year. Big bucks but big memories or so they say..
