Been a while since we did one of these, and since I just got finished with this one, figured I'd bring this up again. Everything on this blind except a few bolts and the 4x4s for the legs was laying around my Mom and Dad's place. Was built with the kids in mind, so the window is a little lower than your typical blind.

I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Is that sawmill cut cedar or did you use a chain saw? Sawmill cut. My dad uses it on some of his fences.

Those aren't deer blinds. Those are deer cabins.

Any place I can sit my ass for a few minutes is my deer blind.

Had a couple of these built on my land. They've been great. Had myself and 2 nine year old kids in them a few days ago. The kids sat until 11am

This is about as much blind as I usually get. Hike a long way in, get back in somewhere nasty, with a view. Toss the pack down on a rock or log and hold tight for a while glassing. It works: Regards, Guy

Pretty fancy blinds. Holy monkey! No kidding! Here's a view from my stand... Same here...or a rock or stump with a seat on it. MAN! some of these stands on here are super luxuriuos. Maybe I need to build one for nasty days.
