That Jorge doesn't know is that part of Montana is covered in six feet of snow a third of the year, there are no jobs, and all the big game is imported from game farms in Idaho. Yep. Good thing his wife has some sense and wont let them move here....

Just enjoyed one a few weeks ago that I brought back from Mx. a very fine smoke indeed. However mathman has never gave me a reason to doubt his recommendations for the finer things in life so I may need to seek out his recommendation next time I am south of the border. You might want to just buy one or two to try before dropping big coin on a box. I haven't burned a Cuban in a good while, so Cohiba way well have rebounded, and Partagas fallen since.

It means he wears the pants in the family...but she tells him which ones. Million dollar view with a bonafide Cohiba and a Woody neat. That's just about perfect. You never want to be perfect..too hard to replicate.

I usually only bring back 3 or 4 of a few different varities, last time the Cohibas were the best of the bunch I will give your recommendation a try.

To narrow the scope a bit, it's the Serie D #4 size that impressed me so much. I didn't have a bunch of other Partagas sizes.
The #4 produced a thick, rich volume of smoke unmatched by just about any other cigar I've enjoyed.

I saw some of the Partagas when I was in the shop but never had any experience with them so stayed away. I will look for that specific one. Also there is a smoke shop in Vancouver BC just north of me, I might swing in there, I see they have those Serie D #4 on their website. They actually ship to all 50 states. Although shipping is $30 so it would need to be a bulk order to make it make since. http://www.vancouvercigar.com/

I don't see how they get away with it. Did some research, and basically the US has a ban on Cuban products but since Canada does not have a treaty with the US they are allowed to ship to the US for non resale purposes.

I think your info source is suspect. http://www.treasury.gov/resource-center/sanctions/Documents/ccigar2.pdf

Montana is cold desolate place with no jobs, ugly women, and hardly a single tooth between the all residents. I should mention that's the good part of the state, the rest of it is just plain hard times.

That is what my research turned up too, however I take that as the responsibility falls on the purchaser/importer, not the exporter. So goods may be shipped to you from a country that does not have a treaty with the US honoring their Cuban goods ban, but it is still illegal purchase, have, or resell in the US. Does that make since?
IOW you can have them shipped to you but if you get caught you are could face prosecution, similar to buying them abroad and bringing them back with you.
