I've got a good amount of IMR-4064 on hand and plan on starting and hopefully stopping there, but I'm just curious on others' results... Thanks... Tanner

Winchester brass. Reduce by .4 grains if using Lake City, or Federal brass. Reduce by .3 grains if using Lapua brass. Last edited by trailrider121; 10/18/14.

Haven't chrono'd yet but shooting 1/2-3/4" in my Montana and to the same impact as 150 TTSXs. Haven't tried 4064 yet.

We're running them between 2,800-2,900fps with 2000MR. Whole new world with a 308.

Even the high end for a 30-06. I have not tried 2000MR, CFE223 or any of the other new powders that seem to work well in the 308 Win. I can get 165s over 2900 out of my 26" barreled 308 using Varget.

My 26in comp rifle using LC LR brass is pushing 2,920fps. The same load out of a 22in hunting rifle is over 2,800fps. I was a big user of 155's until these. A Juggernaut at those speeds beats our 300WM's with 190 SMK's.

Nosler has data for their 190 with the same powder. Showing 2624 fps in a 24" barrel. Alliant's 2000 MR data shows 2724 fps with a 175 Matchking in a 24" barrel. These new powders aren't magic. BTW, who is the "We" in the "We're running them" statement?

QL predicts 2738 with the 185 over CF223, not MR2000 but the powder with the highest velocity for the 308. Pushing pressure from 62K to 69K gets 2813. Dave

When I worked up a load for 155gr Scenars, this charge is what provided the best accuracy for me. Shot a five shot group with it just the other day that measured in the .3s. Velocity is 2870ish. I'm at just over 1,500 Juggernauts in the last 2 months or so. I highly doubt that I will ever shoot 155's again.

Alaska 4064, '15, Vargay, 748 and 4895 will all work just fine with the 155 Scenar. I'd use whatever you've got on hand. I went with 748 for this year's muley load.

I will be working with 180 Sciroccos and 185 juggernauts this winter to see if I can find some magic there as I have both rl-17 and 2000-mr on hand.

Work up to it. The only other powder that came close for accuracy was R-15 but was slower. I get 2930 out of a 23" barrel using Lapua brass, and 210 primers. Bill

"Pressure tested" as in "I've fired them in my rifle and it hasn't blown up yet" Or "We hooked up a piezo and it registered at 63K" Big difference between the two... This lot at 48.6gr with a Juggernaut, this case and primer loaded to 2.930 has been tested by a third party using propper pressure testing equipment to be within Saami spec. FormD shoots a fugging ton and seems to hit what he is pointing his rifle at a large majority of the time. If he was going to blow a gun up, I believe it would've already happened.
