A while back a top marxist spin-meister pushed the term "progressive" forward as a less offensive and possibly more acceptable term than "ultra-liberal" - during the time when they were getting heat for their sick schemes.

Dewey and followers used the term "progressive education" for his early attempts to undermine and weaken the values and rigor of our public schools - but the term became a foul word in most circles. Now, "Common Core" is the resurrected effort, and the hard-core liberals like the seemingly less offensive term "progressive" for their evil agenda.
