Too bad all states weren't like Wy in terms of gun rights.

Today I am about 97% convinced Washing voters will pass the background check initiative. It is a confusing,poorly written, and unenforceable law that will make criminals out of a lot of law abiding gun owners.

It will cause me to remove all my firearms from the state I am not carrying or have at immediate hand as in hunting. If my daughter were to grab my Single-Six to put down a sick animal we would both be guilty of a crime even though I was not in the state at the time. If she gives it back we are both guilty of a felony.

The get togethers we have had would be over as even handling someone else's firearm to admire it is a transfer and would have to be handled my a FFL with a background check and transfer taxes both ways. The bowling pin shoots are not held at an "Authorized" range as so far there are no authorized ranges under the law so we could not touch anyone else's firearm.

I have a CC permit from Oregon and Washington. I may have to change WA to non resident and OR to a resident. Heck, I might just find an address in northern CA where sheriffs do issue resident permits and be able to carry up and down the coast.

Scott, come to ID and you'll have none of those problems. At least now. Don't have a crystal ball.
