Eastern plains are practically all private. In the very few public areas, you'll find whitetails that get tons of pressure and I see virtually no mule deer on those properties. For big eastern mule deer, you better know someone or be writing checks.
Some whoppers out there though.

Was this with an outfitter on private land? Yes, with an outfitter that has several leases on the Eastern Plains. Thanks again for all the kind words - for a guy from PA that has not killed many mule deer, this has been something to see out here!!
