Carried out three deer this fall; packouts ranged from 8 miles with 1k of gain and 4k of descent to a flat 1 mile in deep wet snow. This in addition to hundreds of miles backpacking this year. I have absolutely no complaints, best suspension I've used by a mile.
I really like the pack and trained with over 50lbs at times but have really never loaded it down for that long grind. The load lifters work great and the belt is really solid.I do have the frame extensions that help the load lifters do their job. It is a very, very versatile frame/load hauler that is simple once you learn it but a little intimidating at first. I am going to try and find a way to haul decoys with it. I hunt public for ducks also. Here is a pic on a fishing trip to the coast. The thing is so light I can wear it anywhere, even on a jetty. You are gonna like it.
