Saw one today. In decent shape for a 100 year old gun.
Does any one have one and do you still use it regularly.

$175 OTD but I need another pump gun like I need Ebola.

I actually inherited a Trap Grade model 10. Straight grip stock, 30" full barrel. It was reportedly a goose killing machine back in the day..... I have shot it, but not in a couple years. They are good functional guns still.

I have one. 30" full choke. Won 2 turkeys at the only shoot that I took it to.

I'm a avid shooter of pre-1950 pump and auto shotguns but have opted to pass on the Model 10 (and the 29). The gunshop I frequent has a couple of both in the back room as parts donors. Rep on the 10 is that are function finicky as a lot of moving parts have to be sync to work properly.

The one you are looking at might function just fine and you might get $175 worth of enjoyment out of it no problem.

Does the shop have some type of bullet trap? Couple times I've told my gunshop guy 'Yeah, I'll give you ______ for it, if you function test it and it goes bang two times in a row.

The knock on the Remington 10 and 29 is that they are more difficult to repair when they do malfunction, not that they are more likely to malfunction than other pump guns of that era. Parts are said to be hard to find, and difficult to install so that the gun will be properly timed.

I own two well-used M10s and they've given me no problem, but I don't use them all that hard, either.
