Colt's DF truly sucks! Pat's leading 42 to 20 with 6 minutes left.

To sign that QB with a contract he'll be seeking, Lynch has to go.

Bull chit.

Do the math yourself.

They will cut dead weight and restructure players contracts that didn't perform. Our core super stars except for Wilson are already locked up for long term deals. You can also back load Russ's contract and tweek signing bonuses. All teams with deep talent have the same problem...nothing new.

Interesting - usually by this time if the Queens had one a game their fans would be yellin' "WE'RE GOIN' TO THE SUPER BOWL!" by then..

What about their record indicates that they'll be entertaining home field advantage throughout the playoffs?

They're 6-4 with 3 road games to go so there's at least 1 loss (statistically) coming there. Plus you still have to play the 49's 2x, the Rams who just beat the Broncos. The 9-1 Cards 2x as well.

REALITY is that Seattle for all this talk of dynasty and reloading might not even sniff the playoffs with double digit losses.

Agreed. They are 3 games back of the Cardinals for the NFC West title, and a game back of the Cowboys, the Packers, and the Lions for the wildcard.

Next weekend's game against the Cardinals is essentially a "do or die" game for the Seahawks. Yes, it's in Seattle, so that they have that advantage. If they win, they'll likely still be a game back of at least one team for the top wildcard (and tied, at best, for the second), and two games back of the Cardinals. Lose, and they are four games back of the NFCW title with 5 to go and at least one game out of the second wildcard.

Seattle is 2-3 on the road this year, with losses to San Diego (who looks just pathetic right now), Dallas, and Kansas City. The two wins were against Denver in OT and a pretty bad Carolina team. None of those wins were decisive. In fact, none of their wins this year have been decisive outside of the NYG game and the first game of the season against a since-then MUCH improved Packers team. When a team slips past the 0-10 Raiders by six points and four points on a bad Carolina team, you're not a "dynasty" reloading.

The team chemistry is increasingly volatile. First, the Percy Harvin trade. Next, Lynch reverts back to his "fine me, I'm not talking" stint after the KC game - a game where he REFUSED TO GO TO THE LOCKER ROOM during halftime. Compound that with special teams players being ejected for throwing punches during games, and it's a team on the edge. One more big loss, and they are done - mathematically and likely psychologically.

Of course, I'm not making stuff up about Lynch not being in Seattle next year. See here: http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/11767085/seattle-seahawks-tire-marshawn-lynch

Add in the fact that they are ranked: next to last in sacks (ahead of only the woeful Raiders), tied for 23rd in INTs, 13th in OPP 3rd down conversions (tied with the pathetic Vikings), 17th in OPP 4th down conversions (tied with Tampa), 17th in 3rd down conversions (tied with Buffalo), and 19th in 4th down conversions, and this is a team with a lot of problems.

They are not a good road team, and they are not dominate on either side of the ball in any phase of the game. This is not a "dynasty" team. Their chemistry is suspect; they've already lost one dynamic player and at least one more has question marks as to his long-term tenure. They are behind in the race for their division, behind in the race for the wildcard, and haven't been convincing or consistent throughout the season.

Can Seattle still make the playoffs? Sure, but they'll almost assuredly make it as a wildcard team if they make it at all. For a team that doesn't play well on the road, they'd be looking at having to go on the road three times just to make it to the Super Bowl. That's not a recipe for success.

Now, to get to the cap conversations, please take a look here: http://overthecap.com/salary-cap/seattle-seahawks/

Marshawn Lynch counts $8M against the cap next year. How much of that goes away if he's cut/traded before June 1? Hmmm...

Figure that Russell Wilson will be the highest paid player on that roster next year (or at least #2), and the fact that they'll have to get some other contracts done for lines (O and D, as they need help on both), and add in some rookie contracts, and you're up against a cap wall pretty quickly.

Then again, I guess we're all just "idiots" for actually paying attention and not drinking the Kool-Aid out there North SanFran, huh?

And Brady wasn't on his game last night throwing 2 of the worst picks I've ever seen him throw. Jonas Gray just added another dimension to the Pats offense and the o-line is playing well.

And the defense, if they had a good pass rush I could see them winning out the rest of the season. Their toughest test in the next 6 games is in 2 weeks against Green Bay but I think it will be a close game, only because of the Pats secondary.

That's ok, I'll ass shoot a dink.

That game was horrible. The fans were calling for Colt the entire game. The only time they cheered was when RG3 slid on a run.

Post game was really bad with RG trashing his entire team. Things are coming to a head quickly in DC.

I think this will be an interesting game, alas Packers take it in the fourth quarter by 10.

When you sign a prima donna and then let him run off a coaching staff by dictating his terms to return from an injury and his desires for plays, then hold the team hostage for him to return yet again, WTF do you expect?

When you trade way your future for THREE drafts for one kid that is already injury prone, and who plays the most important position on the field in the riskiest possible manner (without the size to do it), WTF do you expect?

When you reward that idiocy by a huge contract and cap hit, WTF do you expect?

The 'Skins are dead for the rest of this decade because of the RG3 deal.

You'll be without a QB, again, next season. You'll be without a coach, again, next season. You'll be entering the draft looking for miracles with handcuffs on, again. You'll be staring at a weak QB free-agency market, again. You'll be out of the playoffs, again, repeatedly for the rest of the decade.

Not so sure. The Pack doesn't have much of a running game, but the Pats do. It should be a good one.

Knowing Snyder, that's likely the route he'll take - just to have RGKnee go down again to a season ending injury so he can string this charade out for at least two more seasons.
