His "concession" is real special... Take the Is out and it is a MUCH shorter piece. He grabbed about everything everyone else did and tried to make it his own.
He did not introduce a single piece of legislation in 6 years... which is actually a very good thing for anyone with an IQ over room temp...
Mark Begich, Joaquin Jackson, and Heller resistance... Three huge reasons to worry about the NRA.
Lisa I hope you're next and that the rest of the country can grow a set of balls and make the Senate and House install a revolving door
I'm pretty certain when we sing our anthem and mention the land of the free, the original intent didn't mean cell phones, food stamps and birth control.
There's no doubt who this azz clown voted for in 2010, now he's pissed off because she didn't throw her support behind a feckless do-nothing jr senator.
Ah.......The pop-up targets of the Propaganda Corps.
They push whomever is the farthest left.
Sleeza was far left of Joe Miller and Marky Boy is far left of Sleeza.
They should have done themselves a favor and pushed the idiot in Sitka.
I do not think Sleaza is even close to far left of Marky... They voted almost in lock-step. Sleaza cast the committee vote allowing ACA to come to a vote. Without her it could not have been done. Claiming after the fact she did not vote for it is disingenuous at its worst.

Fellas: It looks "Win Win" to me. Liberals, the liberal rag and the AFN want to castigate Sliza. I say let them go for it!
All the Conserv's need do is come up with a viable candidate for the post. At this point I'd vote for Pat Paulson instead of Sliza. Wonder if he's available?
"You've been here longer than the State of Alaska is old!" *** my Grandaughters
The Republicans had better be preparing a very good alternative to LM for whom conservatives can vote. The Republicans can indeed capitalize on the ground swell of Democrat anger and hatred toward Republicans in general and Murkowski in particular, as they see her as the main reason Marky lost. In reality, she probably played a very minor role. That's OK, time for her to go. But there must be someone more reasonable than Miller to run against her. And I'm not talking about Miller's conservatism, which I agree with. I'm talking about his inability to connect with average people in a humble, personable manner.
I can't think of anyone right now that I would have confidence in in beating her in an election.

Typical democrap leftists in denial.......it couldn't be his vote for Zerocare or any number of other issues he backdoored us on........It has to be Murkowski's fault. Fahq in scumbags.
But the race was too close for any kind of comfort. Incumbents are very hard to replace! Sleaza will be much harder to replace this time. It pisses me off that so many had so little thinking going into it that she seemed a good idea, even over Miller. Miller would have at least been replaceable.
Dan Sullivan is probably the leader right now, but he is not anyone's favorite mayor...

Dan Sullivan is probably the leader right now, but he is not anyone's favorite mayor...
Was Marky anyone's favorite mayor (besides the city unions)? Seemed to me that Anchorage fired the twerp and passed him off on the rest of Alaska. Sullivan could really work on his image.
I'm not from anchorage, but I've always thought of mayor Dan Sullivan as a damn well spoken, well liked conservative guy. Has he run afoul of anchorage conservatives somehow? Every time I hear him speak I think "why isn't this guy already in Lisa's seat?" He doesn't seem to pull any punches...

I like him and would vote for him in a NY minute to replace Murkowski, and everyone I know that isn't union likes him as well. His biggest foe right now are the unions and that can be a big hurdle to overcome.

Actually, in person he is not all that likable... His own brother will not talk to him and quit his job when it came under Dan's control.
The fact the unions dislike him so strongly is a tough one for him... but I like it!

Was at the Anchorage airport Nov 7th there was Markie heading to Chicago on the same plane he looked like he was going to cry, from 7 ft away. Some how I did not feel sad!
kk alaska
Alaska 7 months of winter then 5 months of tourists
He'll be back. He believes like Hillary and other liberals that he is entitled. Especially since his daddy died in office. One of the posters on the Dispatch said that he should have the office he "deserves". Deserves?! Give me a break! No politician deserves anything and should expect nothing, except the privilege of serving FOR A WHILE. Don Young included BTW. But I'm betting that he is already gearing up for another run. He has tasted power and likes it, and won't be down for long.
I hope his next stop sees him running for 'dogcatcher' in Metlakatla or other north Seattle suburb. And if the Dems want Don out, the easiest way would be for them to get behind a strong Repub in the primary. The primary is Don's ticket to the exit IMO.
