I don't know how I didn't see BT in the post, but I missed it twice over. Thanks, RSY.

I don't know how I didn't see BT in the post, but I missed it twice over. Thanks, RSY. Don't sweat it. Once upon a time, before the Ballistic Tips arrived on the scene, "BT" meant "boat-tail." Many folks still use it as such. Thus, I thought you might be asking "Which 140 boat-tail?" RSY

What is the general feeling regarding 140 gr. bullets in the 270 Win vs. the more common 130 and 150 gr. pills?
Is the 140 as good a choice here as I am thinking? ... Look at sectional density. Also, BArnes should develop a 140 gr. TTSX.

I replace valve cover gaskets every 50K, if they don't need them sooner...

And 140gr still work along with the 270.

Holy [bleep] 10 year old thread! Zombies are getting pretty old!!!
I probably hit more elk with a pickup than you have with a rifle. I have yet to see anyone claim Leupold has never had to fix an optic. I know I have sent a few back. 2 MK 6s, a VX-6, and 3 VX-111s.
