I want to order some Butler Creek Flip Open Scope Covers, the only info I can find correlates size number with the inside diameter. Can anyone tell me what size(s) a Leupold 4X Compact scope would take? Thanks.

I wouldn't bother unless they have changed the manufacturer recently. The last pair I had last 1 or 2 hunts tops

If your scope is the Leupold 4x rimfire scope, the #05 eye and #07 objective covers ( black flip ups) are correct.

They ride on all of my hunting rifles objective bells. The cover lids broke off. I had an older pair that lasted. The new covers did not and heard other hunters have the same issue.

I have had several sets of caps break or get pulled of without noticing moving through thick brush. I now use electrical tape to hold them in place and assume I'll need to replace them every couple of years. The other manufacturers products have done the same thing with about the same longevity for me. They are still nice to keep debris and snow off of the lenses. I usually have them just long enough to forget the size.
