Does anyone know what year Remington transitioned from McMillan to B&C stocks on the KS series rifles?
I believe it was around 2000, but not positive.

Cannot say. But I have had several McMillan KS rifles & really liked them. I still have one and would never part with it.

Yep, they are one of, if not, my most favorite pattern.
Looking to pick up another one.

I've got one with a 99 stamped on the barrel, S62855xx, and its a McMillan. It's a .300 Roy, I'd really like to get a .280, 7RM or a .30-06. Nice rifles.

I've got one I bought around 1987 and it's got a Brown Precision stock I believe.
