That's it. He pulls out that long barreled revolver and goes "It's an 88 Magnum...it shoots through schools", in that tone of voice he used in that movie. I thought it was damn funny.

I loved that movie. Remember the part where Keaton and Henner are driving and there's a BOLO on them and their car? They keep stripping off contact paper covering the car to change the color and the voice on the radio keeps changing the description of the car.

I read a report this week where the bad guy used a .45mm automatic handgun. Does anyone know of a 0.01771654 calibre automatic handgun?

I read the same thing on FOX, Scott. My buddy and I were joking that we both had to have the new best super tactical .45mm automatic gun.

It was most likely a .45 Auto or a BB gun... i.e. a 4.5mm (.177cal). Never know with the media, might have been a ma deuce for all we know but then they'd be reporting someone had a Howitzer.

Maybe it has a rifled shot gun barrel.

Half the time the press can't spell or use proper grammar. Expecting them to know the difference between a shotgun and a rifle is a stretch.

They only have desired effect when you soak the bean bags and freeze them right before deployment.

Hell, if they DID manage to correctly recognize a shotgun, it would then by default also be called a "Streetsweeper." Because they can't speak without over dramatizing everything.

Unless, of course, they are describing the poor underprivileged minority members. In which case rioting becomes "demonstrating" and looting becomes "affirmative shopping."

That was my first thought as well. Five in the gun, six in the side-saddle, and as many as my pockets would hold...................assuming the premise of the lopsided standoff which has the cops shooting beanbags in the first place.

I STILL say it's time to use water. Nobody gets hurt, just very very cold. Then the party quits being fun, people go home. If there are perception concerns, then find some black firemen and cops to operate the hoses. And while they're spraying water, they can work on the fires started by the partying criminals.
