There many really good outfitters in CO. You may want to look up the "Outfitters of the Year" to find the best ones. I believe you will find that those Outfitters will be booked for at least a year in advance. Hope you find a good one.

I sound like a broken record but I would include J-Bar-H Outfitters in your search.

J Bar H is one of the best. She is booked through 2015 and only has a few spots available for 2016. If you are interested in hunting with her then, I would suggest calling today. She will book up completely.

Wynn Condit in the Meeker is a decent one also. I think it's Wycon Safaris. This year was bad for hunter success....all around for both locals and out of state hunters.

This Durango outfit is very reputable and they hunt elk in the Wimmenuche Wilderness. I've hunted with this outfit and they throw down a great camp, good guides, and a fair amount of elk in their area. http://www.overthehilloutfitters.com/Were you to book with them, do some research on how to prevent altitude sickness. They hunt waaaay up there. L.W.
