I have one that was built by Dtech and like it very much. It's not really even broke in yet but shoots factory 55 grain Supremes into 1/2" at 4100 fps. Factory 95's or 100's go around 1" give or take a half. I've only handloaded 85 grain TSX's for it and found many of my loads under an inch at around 3300 fps.
I was going to go with the 25 but Mike (Dtech) shoots a 243 himself and the 25's need to have the bullets seated deeper so that meant factory stuff was out. Typically I handload everything, but like the flexibility of using factory stuff if I need to. He also said that they are harder to handload for than a 223 due to the larger case with much thicker brass.
Ridge runner has a 25 and has mentioned a factory load for it that runs in his without deeper seating. I don't remember what that load was but I would guess the lightest bullet weight.
I find nothing not to like about mine and if any problems arise, Mike is a great guy to help you sort them out or fix them for you. If you get one, I can't see how you would not like it.

Plus using the TSX bullets, you are never want for a stouter bullet in need which makes the round bigger than it is, IMHO.

I am intending to build one in the next few months, I decided on the 243WSSM because of the COL it will fit in the AR mag with a small amount of modifacation to the feed lips. The 25 WSSM is to long and the 6.8SPC is just a 270 short I have a 270WSM I do not need a short that is limited in bullet wt. The same goes for the Grendel bullet wts are limited to the 90 grn and over. The 243 WSSM can be loaded from 58 grn up to 100 grn and the lighter bullets are real zippers on paper at least. (3800-4000 FPS) on paper anyway.

Just curious? how much longer is the 25 WSSM compared to the 243 WSSM?

Not much. I understand you only need to seat the factory stuff another .020 into the case for it to function.

blammer, the 120 gr factory loads will work in the mag ok, but the 85's and 115 ctbst's need to be seated a lil deeper to fit. RR

RR, it depends on what mags you are using. Some of the steel mags that I have used will just fit the factory 120 grain loads. The aluminum mags that I have been using will not take the 120's without seating them about .015 deeper.
