Alright, this might be kind of vague but I'm trying to find a specific stock maker for a friend of mine. A few years back he was given a laminate stock for his model seven and last year it split right down the middle. It was a straight comb stock with no cheek piece and no checkering. Honestly it looked similar to something you might get from boyds except it was hogged out in multiple places to make it extremely light.

I remember when he got it and I could have sworn the company that made it was named something like "heinrich" or "heimlach" or similar but after multiple searches I can't seem to find anything.

So, does anyone know the company that might have made it?

Might be a Fajen, prior to Midway purchase . I have one on a Ruger M77 MK II , that has the barrel channel and buttstock hollowed out.

Boyds offers (or used to) stocks with "lightening" cuts. Maybe it is one of those?

No, I'm not a Ruger bigot - just an unabashed fan of their revolvers, M77's and #1's.

That was going to be my guess as well. I think the only stocks (laminate) that offered the lightening option were Boyds and Richard's Micro-fit stocks. Not sure if Harry Larson also offered laminates. Can't think off the top of my head who used the idea that Kilimanjaro is using where the saw the stock down the middle, install some sort of full length spacer and glue the thing back together.

Your memory, at least in regards to this, is not to be trusted. Reinhardt Fajen seems likely. whistle smile
