Ditto..

I have dealt a few times with Mickey over the years and have found him to be, as 4ager said above, a TRUE gentleman.. Man, this seems to have been awful quick...

I'm so sorry and saddened to read about this today.. frown

I have a feeling Mickey is saying this now:

My heart is sad for those closest to him ..his wife, his children, grandchildren, close friends...and his "babies". Please send your Holy Spirit, the Great Comforter to be with them during this difficult time. I ask that you would provide comfort and peace and love. Please hear their cries and hold them close.

In your holy name,

Beautifully said.

It's funny to think how many memories he indirectly was involved in once you think about the rifles he has built for so many of us here on the Fire.

I think another will fall in Mickey's memory using that rifle this weekend.

My daughter holding the .223AI Mickey built for me and the one she used for her first deer that evening.

I come here for a good time and to share special thoughts and happenings. Mickey was always there with positive posts and kind words. Every time we lose someone of his caliber, the campfire becomes less and less inviting. Though I didn't know him personally, I will honestly miss him. RIP and know that many, many good people will not be quite so complete.

I'm saddened to hear this news. I had some few dealings with him and he always impressed me with his integrity. A fine man who will be missed greatly. R.I.P.

Oh no. Rest in peace Mickey. I know better than to call him Mr. Coleman again. He corrected me quick while discussing a build years ago. He was a very fine fellow and will be missed.

Wow. Mickey was one of the few guys I paid attention to here. To me the campfire won't be the same. RIP Mickey
