For quite some time the Alaska guy's couldn't get factory ammo like Garrett Cartridges and others shipped to Alaska..It is now available thru Rayco Sales (907-789-4862) in Juneau Alaska whom can ship it any where there.
Spendy yes,But I have never got factory ammo as consistant as this from accuracy to primer seating depth with less than 5 fps in velocity consistacy on my chrono from the ten I shot...

Buffalo Bore Ammo is very available here in many of the shops. I like it. Much more selection as well.

I like the Buffalo Bore stuff and Tim Sundles has always been gracious when speaking with him.

Who'd have thought an advert for Garrett would turn into an endorsement for Sundles?

I shoot Buffalo Bore Almost exclusively. 45-70 357 Mag, 44 Mag and 45 Colt. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I just picked up some BB 430 gr. hardcasts for my .450 Marlin last weekend. I hope to be carrying them for my "heavy" bear load if they shoot good this Saturday. No Garret's in Fairbanks that I know of yet.

The 430's I use shoot good. Mine's 45-70 but I would think yours would shoot just as good. Got 1-1/2" at 100 yards with my 1.5-5 Leupold.

Also, the 450M LeverEvolution is now available in town. I had to grab a couple of boxes to see what all the hoopla is about. Didn't see any in 45-70 though.
