There was one recently on gunbroker that sold. The owner said it was a special order as the 222 Rem is not a standard chambering for the US market. I cannot verify that information. A call to CZ-USA might help. If they are at SCI in couple of weeks, I'll ask while I'm there.

Could you ask them if they would do a 17 Remington or 17 Hornet in a LH while you're at it?
They say everything happens for a reason.
For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

yep, I'm wanting a 17 Hornet so it'll be easy to pin them down. I would like a 17 Hornet as well so will also put a bug in CZ's ear if they are at SCI.
My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

I did notice , on the CZ website last year, that the european model {don't recall the exact one} was offered in 222
I would be interested in one of those if a US version does not surface .
Also in the interim I'd be interested in a Tikka LH 222 either stnls or blued .
