Trying to post photos. I kept the original forend and made a screw and swivel that fit the original tapped hardware. The stock had the usual tang crack, so I bought an oversized stock blank (Don't remember what outfit made it). If I did it again, I would make up a new forearm so I could make the new barrel much thinner. I am sure the original barrel was cut down, but it is still heavy. No need for that heavy a barrel on a 7-30. The shorter barrel is the 7-30 (18"). The white end is a nylon protective cap I made to keep the threads from getting banged up. The puppy is a new addition (Had to put my dog down the other week) and was the runt of the litter. She is so small that she was sleeping on a wooden ledge over a baseboard radiator. Obviously I am still having problems posting pictures or she would not be on this post. My first digital camera and that does not help matters either. I was having trouble shrinking the photos to an acceptable size.
