My COAL for the 223 with the 52 Amax is 58mm ( It is basically what will barely fit in the mag)

The 52 Amax shoot well for me also
When my rifle .22-250 was a factory 1:14 and now that it's AI'ed and 1:8 same results

Warning about 52gr A-Maxs I shot a coyote with one and all it did was put a big hole through him ,blood everywhere and then it died .

26.5 grains of H4895 behind the 52 or 53 grainer delivers top accuracy in my Cooper M21. I've shot several thousand of them.
