We switched surgeons on one of our kids for the same reason when he was little, ended up being a great choice and great results but was scary as heck at the time. Keep the faith!

My Mom has just been diagnosed with liver cancer. She is a young 84 years old and, other than this, is very healthy.
She is going to the oncologist Monday morning (her birthday!) to find out the treatment plan.
So, if you can find it in your heart, I would appreciate and cherish your prayers, well wishes, and good thoughts for her.
Thank you.
Ed Damn Ed... Will be hitting the sack in a few moments... but not before I get down on the old knees and ask the good Lord to be with you and your family during this difficult time... and may peace and painlessness be with your mother... God be with each of you...

Well, I'm in NC with my Mom. Her surgery was supposed to be last Friday morning at 09:00 AM in Chapel Hill.
The surgeon cancelled her surgery at the last minute with no explanation and no contact with her regular Doc. An unidentified woman from UNC Med Center called her and said that she was to have another type of procedure (Cyberknife) with no explanation of what that was, when it was to take place, or anything else.
End result, she fired the surgeon and was assigned another oncology team, this time with a world-class Dr & his team. This new Doc has been very helpful, informative, and caring as has been his staff.
So, we are waiting to hear what the treatment plan is and when it will begin.
She knows that she isn't getting out of this life alive and her faith is something to behold. She is at peace with however the treatment comes out and is taking full part in discussions about treatments and any options.
Continued prayers would be greatly appreciated.
