Thanks guys.. Robster, yes we run curs. We don't breed them anymore, just have two now. We used to run them more when we lived in IN, they were poison on squirrels and coons.

Very nice. They truly are poison on coon and squirrel. I have one. Will be getting another but I have to wait until my old Lab passes on. Not that I am rushing it. Unless of course I want to get divorced, then I can get one at any time. Hmmmmm....wife or Cur...... Tough one there!! lol

Wish I was shooting bobcats but seems I'm always out after prairie poodles. I broke my shooting sticks last time out and came up with these 5' bamboo sticks - six pieces for $2.68 so I figured they were cheap to try. The 5' length does let me shoot standing but they're a bit unwieldy, I'll cut a set down to 42 inches which works for my kneeling shots. Temperature hit 73 but the wind came up so I called it a day. I was walking and gunning, here's how I rolled: Hoping the Vixen gets me an invite to the invitational.

Nice job Boise. I like that skull turret cover..... Got the cats on stretchers, still need to borax them and get them all fluffy and purty..

Despite hurricane force winds, the 222 mag pulls through and takes the head off this prairie dog. High velocity and slow twist...

From where you are at, you could possibly see success just past the horizon...

Y'all are tearing it up. Went to Rancho Deluxe yesterday to zero Nikon I'd dropped onto the ol' LTR. Soon as I pulled up to the bench, this turkey-killin' sumbitch waddled across the shooting Lane at 50 yards. Greased him with my off-duty AR & TAP 55 gr. As he lay [img:left] [/img]

I think he's playing possum and isn't really dead.

Folks round here like to catch em live and feed them shell corn for a week or so to get em tasty before they whack em.
I prolly should have parboiled him, but decided he'd better serve by attracting some coyotes.
We're fixing to have some Montana like weather, but may get out and try to call a dog or kitty cat outta the swamp behind the Ranch tomorrow afternoon.
Poobah, I thought the same thing cuz could not see any blood till I flipped him and saw the exit.

I'm so glad I don't have to deal with those buggers getting in my coyote and coon traps anymore.. Good job on whacking them! I actually don't think they're very ugly, but they are definitely nasty.
