I have a S&W model 73 .32. I would like a set of oversize grips. Any idea where to find some or does anyone have any?
Thanks <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I would be looking for a buyer! MODEL 73 - .38 Spl. cal., C frame. Most copies of this model were destroyed by S&W in 1973. Few examples have survived. The last known traded price was $10,000!

Terry, ya must have missed the "wink" <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />.
Besides, everyone knows the C-frame used J-frame grips... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

And the point of this was???
Actually, you can still get a model 73 in .32...It's the S&W 431
The 73 was a seriously half-baked idea. Im not sure what genius thought they needed to compete against the Colt Detective Special, when the Chief Special was killing Colt in sales. Guess someone got bored.

I got an old 2X4 out back, have you got a good whittlin' knife?

MF,
Are you saying you have one? If that's the case, then why are you asking about oversized grips? If you have one without original grips, you should be seeking out original grips, not oversized grips.
There is only a handful of 73's, (less than a dozen) so if by chance you have one, I wouldn't recommend shooting or carrying it. If you want a shooter, then get rid of it and use the money to buy a whole arsenal of handguns...with oversized grips.
