Travis Going out on a limb here and can't speak for Ken, but I'd venture to guess he knows the real parents, not the biological parents. When the authorities eventually rescued him,
every major bone in his little body had been broken at least once.

They'd be excellent test media for my Hornady "Critical Duty" .45 ammo. Becky is Rick's daughter. She's a sculptor — makes 3-D portraits of deceased children for their parents. She and Terry overflow with tender compassion for other folks' griefs. Rick is my Medicaid “nanny.” I've been “adopted” into Rick's extended family. So Caleb, in my heart, is my "grandson," too. Terry and Becky adopted André and Caleb, both born with cerebral palsy, after their own son Ethan was born with it. Ethan and André, diagnosed to die as infants, are now in their early teens. All three boys are very special and beloved friends of mine. Treasures. So is little Chloe, self-appointed special, protective care-giver for Ethan. Interesting foot-note —Ethan (Arizona) and two great-aunts (New Mexico) had the same dream — Caleb running, jumping, flying a kite, and laughing. “Caleb is changing,” Ethan told his folks.
