I have been having a hard time finding out anything about a powder, and someone on the handgun forum suggested that I post on the Europe Forum.

There is a shortage of reloading components here in the US. One large mail order house has numerous Nobel Sport Vectan powders in stock, including something called Vectan BA9. BA9 looks like a general purpose powder for 9mm, 40, 10mm, .45 ACP and .45 LC. I did some web searches and most of the hits come back to foreign language sites. This is funny because I passed a local Dyno Nobel plant driving to an IDPA match this past weekend.

My primary use will be for 9mm, with a secondary use for .45 ACP. Based on Vectan's Website, it appears that it should meet my needs. In fact, it appears to be as versatile as anything generally available in the US. Can any of you provide any insight into this powder?

Thanks so much!
