No pics of the big ones I got into last weekend (ain't that always the story?), but caught a few decent bass yesterday despite the bite being slow.

A last minuet trip, I decided to drive (2+ hours) to a lake I have not fished in 25 years.
We got in to some 12 to 16 inch bows and browns.
Keep 4 for dinner, released the rest.

Nice! They stock a couple small lakes around here with rainbows, but it's a long drive to find any wild ones.

We got into a half a dozen 10"-11" crappie also on the trip. My niece was with me.

These are from 2 weekends ago, water was 42 degrees. Not a super good day, but we ended with 6 keepers after 4 hours on Saturday and 16 more keepers after 5 hours on Sunday

Monster crappie of the day I caught-
