.375 Ruger on a FN action. 21" McGowan barrel. Leupold VXII 2-7X33 with Talley steel rings and bases. Favorite load is the 270 gr Barnes 3X over RL17 for 2700 fps. Anyone know who made this stock? I've been looking for one like it for years... Thanks, Okie John
If Montana had a standing army, a 270 Win with Federal Blue Box 130's would be the standard issue.

.375 RUM NEAR Alphamount one piece. In my opinion simply the best mount you can put on a big bore. Superb craftsmanship. Notice the integrated recoil lug. Swarovski z3 Very cool mount. Thanks for sharing..
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

I love the looks of the Kahles scopes too. How well do they hold up on a heavy kicker???? Eric, that may be a good option for your new 338 win mag Alaskan..

That one looks like a good size, BSA. The S&B Summit... also looking like a good option.

Yes, that one fits nicely. Hard to beat the S&B too, if you can afford it. I'm a poor boy, S&B too rich for my blood...
