http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=479627228Anyone know what brand name that crown-shaped proof marking on the breech end signifies? It looks like one from a Parker Hale action I have, but I am not aware of them marketing barrels to gunsmiths? I am interested because a tapered/threaded/short-chambered 338 WM barrel in my possession has the same marking. Thanks all, Efw

I'm probably wrong but that looks more like a proof mark than a maker's label. Maybe it came from the UK or europe and was run through a proof house?
