Just picked up a 700 223 action. Considering options for a 223AI.
The exchange for US$$ is much these days so buying bbls and stocks is an expensive venture. Might go slow on this one.

The plans are...
Stiller Pred action, Single Shot Manners Stock Timney Clavin Elite trigger at 10 oz MTU or similar Cut Rifle bbl Chambered in 6mm Competition Match Smithed by Chad Dixon of LRI
Undecided on the stock pattern, but will be a heavy fill Barrel make will be whatever I find at the time the funds allow...But I am strongly considering a Hawkhill Custom or a K&P Barrel.

Gonna have Shaw rebarrel a Remington 78 to 8mm-06, probably 23", H.S. Precision green/spiderweb stock and either Metalife or electroless nickel metal finish.

I have a Remington 700 off being blue printed and barreled right now for competition use.
260 Remington with .298" neck and .088" throat, 26" fluted Benchmark 1/8" #14 Heavy Palma, FTE brake, .312" pinned lug, #8 base threads, fluted 1-piece PTG bolt, a Timney Calvin Elite trigger, in an AICS AT 1.5 stock, topped with a S&B PM II 3-12x50 in a Spuhr mount.
I am also planning a light weight 6mm Ceedmoor but I haven't moved on it other than ordering a Manners MCS-EH8 stock.

I believe I am going to try one of the new Mausingfield actions with a Bartlein or Lothar Walter barrel in .375 Ruger.

Finishing a lower on my 270AR cat and building a 7mm Valkyrie AR. Here's the furnature that's going on the 7mm Valkyrie AR. A side charge upper is in the mail from Eisenach Arms and a billet lower from South texas Arms has already been paid for and waiting on engraving. They will be camoed the same color/pattern. The barrel for the 7mm Valkyrie AR is still about a month out. Putting one of those new two stage triggers from Ruger in it. Its ging to be scoped with a Leupold Mod AR 1 4X12 which I have waiting.

Already built a lightweight 6XC. Rem 700 SA that has the bolt Ti fluted by Karl, Gretan lightweight shroud, Rock #2 1:8 at 22" in an ADL Hunters Edge, Timney trigger and BAT ADL trigger guard. Still need to paint the stock, and Cerakote the barreled action.
I have a SS 3-9 scope resting on top
