My new bow has a WB and I was wondering what effect that rain has on it. Bow season opens next Sat. and it might be a wet one. Any input is appreciated, thanks.

I have used one for three years, no problem with rain or snow etc. Hang it outside and hose it down, try it yourself and you'll see it is O.K.

My only concern would be in freezing rain. The bristles might freeze together but I've never experienced that. Wet snow, rain, and other normal hunting conditions didn't bother mine a bit.

I live in for all practical purposes a rain forrest on washingtons west side and rain is not an issue at all. My biscuitt works flawlessly. CD

I was taught it is unethical to bowhunt in the rain because the rain will wash away the blood making tracking really difficult.

Rain won't make any difference in finding a deer. Good shot where its supposed to be and watch where the deer goes. Not very hard to wait some, then if all else fails, grid search and most bowkills of mine that were hit correctly were down within 150 yards max. Not any different than finding one with little or no blood trail in normal weather either.

And you mention bowhunting in the rain, Ain't gonna be any different than gunhunting in the rain. Now that we are off topic anyway.

And if you think all gun shot deer fall on the spot.....
