I'd like to pick up a bolt action in 7.62x39 but I don't want to pa $500 for one. Is there an option on the market or would I be better off investigating a rechambering project?

I'd look at a RAR in .300 blackout myself. Would be fun and pretty similar to the soviet with better options.

Thanks but I want a companion to my semi-autos in 7.62x39. Last thing I need is to start setting up in ANOTHER cartridge

I've never done this as both my SKS are Russian. Might be worth looking into if there is a mod.
