Hi guys, Ive Started cleaning up gun room and ran across a nice Sporter Varmint in the hard to beat 308. $850 out the door, I cut my trading teeth on these Sporter Varmints before the pre 64 bug hit me so hard, I started taking note and with the last pre 64 fwt in Ive 5 308's, Soo this one needs to roll,You rarely see these in 308, this is my second or third, I can tell by the bolt jewling it was shot very little. Its time for some target and varmint guns to go. Photos in a bit! very best WinPoor I did shoot it and it was good to go. WP

Next up is a Custom Shop Varmint gun in 22-250, When you shoot it there is no doubt its a CS gun, I have a paper work back when gun was ordered in 88 or 89',super nice mounts, box and shipping sleeve,Wood is out of world! It had 9 rounds thru it when I got it,Ive run maybe 50 max, its scarey accurate, I do hate to see this one go. Photos to follow 1500 out the door. very best WinPoor Third gun from the right, that one will give you an idea of the wood! v best Winpoor 5 shot group with the 22-250 with Win white box 40 rd stuff. It shoots any factory ammo I put thru it like this. v best winpoor not a good photo.

Then STFU. The rest of your statement is superflous bullshit with no real bearing on this discussion other than to massage your own ego. Suckin' on my titties like you wanted me.

Waiting patiently for anything in a 06 to pop up John, you don't have a 30-06 or are you looking for a target grade 06??
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

I don't own a 06 period and If I was to get a pre64 an 06 would be the one I would get a standard or featherweight would be just fine, don't need a target rifle. Just looking for something that hasn't been rode hard and put away wet...

Mr GSP, I will get up photos today, I got to going thru the gun safe and ran into one that I really like, kinda best of both worlds, a transition that reads 30 GOV'T '06. The metal is 90% but the wood looks like Winchester wishes theirs had. A pro refinished the stock many years ago, it is hand rubbed to perfection and has some nice figure in it, I see why I put it in the do not sell cabinet.... I will post photos. very best WinPoor

Just looking for something that hasn't been rode hard and put away wet... mr 79S I have photos of 4 std 30-06 all are shooters but unmolested, bolt handle is thin, floor plates are thin ,wood is uncut, I was going to redo wood and rust blue bottom metal, bore is very good on all, all were carried more than shot, I will get photos and forward asap. Update, 2 are 30-06 ,1 is 30 GOV'T'06 and 1 is .270win I will take photos, I bought them all to restore as all were uncut, honest wear guns with fantastic bores, I love taking a gun with a good bore that is uncut and redoing whatever it needs, wood metal ect. I have no problem making a silk purse out of a sows ear. There is a place for each and every one of these things.Life is to short to hunt with an ugly gun! thanks WinPoor

Guys, If any are sitting on the fence on any guns listed here go ahead and move as Im about to dust the old gun broker account up, I dont know why but its been more fun selling Winchesters right here, heck I dont think Ive ever used the classifieds here. If you have a particular gun you have been wanting, pre and post 64 just shoot me a PM and I will see what I have... very best WinPoor
