Headed home from Warm River Idaho.......Ausome trip....fished Henry's fork and South fork.....caught some very nice Brown's, Rainbow's and Cut's......fished with 3 Rivers Ranch......trip of a life time.......hated to leave.....
Men and Rivers are made crooked by the path of least resistance....!!!!!!!

Congrats. That sounds like the trip of a lifetime.
Did you fish the Warm River or any other waters in the area?
I'm contemplating a trip to Ashton and have looked at staying at the Warm River campground since it's in the middle of all the prime fishing spots.

Warm river's a good camp, as is the one up on the Buffalo river. If you're mostly wanting to fish the South fork, there's closer camp grounds than these two.
It's hard hearing of guys fishing my "backyard" more than I am. It's been a busy summer.

The dilemma is I don't know where we're going to spend the most time fishing. I've never been there so there's some exploring to do and it seems like Warm River is a good central location to spread out from. I've been looking at some of the lesser known streams and rivers in the area and wouldn't mind spending a day or two fishing away from the crowds.
It depends on the fishing though. If we find a great spot things could change.
