Care to share your loads, seating depth preferences, and on game performance? Looks like a laser to 300 yds...just point n shoot.

I run them out of 24" Remington 700 stainless DM, 60gr of RL19 is sending them along at 3978fps, there seated out to touch the lands. How do they work? well the 243 Winchester with the
80gr TTSX sending at 3300fps is a deer killing machine, what can the 25 cal 80gr TTSX do with another 600fps behind it. Everything I hit with this 25-06 was drt, kills like a lighting bolt. Loaned this rifle to my neighbor for his sons first hunt, boy shot a big doe in the butt, they told me the deer went right down deader than a door nail, didn't even move after hitting her.

Did you just work that data up or is it listed somewhere? Thx.

Reason for asking I have a Mark X in the safe that never gets out anymore and not much data for the 80gr. Area I deer hunt is pretty much muzzle loader because of seasons. But thinking that 80 might be a good reason to hunt harder later. Can't imagine what 3900fps would do to a coyote either. thx

edit: Anybody with latest Barnes manual. Are there more powder options on paper than they show online for the 80 TTSX?

You can also go to Hodgdon online their specific data for an 80 grain bullet is the T TSX. they don't seem to show any thing as Speedy as Barnes data and definitely nothing up towards the 3900fps range that's pretty awesome.

On line data is showing 57. ...I think that makes your 60 grain load valid....I wonder if your getting a big jump in speed from loading to the lands?

Just could be a fast barrel, no pressure signs like flat primers, heavy bolt lift, ejector marks, or blown primers. Shot the same load out of my 700 Sendero without any problem either.

I played with the 95 ttsx in 270 win and Weatherby and if I remember right both loads came out quite a bit faster than projected. I think there's something about these lightweight bullets and the relief groove that makes them pretty fast.
And I'm not sure it's pressure related.

I've got two test loads for the 80ttsx in my 2506 done. I'm giving stout charges of 7828ssc and enduron 4451 a go first.
I don't plan on much breaking 3700 in my 22 inch barrel but we'll see if we get surprised at the chrono.

How'd those 270 loads come out? Been wondering how fast the Bee would go with light bullets.

I'd have to pull up my records but I think I was in the 3900 to 4000 area. I didn't really work up..I used quick load to forecast and it came out faster than quick load thought.
If your interested I'll look up the prediction and result.

95gr bullet at 4000 would wreck a Whitetail nervous system, that's even better than my 25-06 80gr load. All you need is to hit a deer and there down. I'm playing with a 22-250 right now and the 50 TTSX, can spit them out of a 26" barrel at alittle over 4100fps. Want to try them on deer.

I'm not sure of the design differences between the ttsx in 257 and the 95 and 277. I would think than 80 Grainer is designed for more speed.... where the 95 is designed for the 6.8 Grendel. I would think it's super high speed the 95 was going to shed its petals almost immediately.... however a flat nose Bullet at that speed it's still going to create a lot of havoc?

Either or are going to act the same way at that speed, I was thinking the other way for the 95gr ttsx being it's 2 caliber bigger. It would hold up better at higher speeds.

Impact at > 3500fps, 5 wound channels, 1 being a .277 wadcutter. Somebody's going to yell there's not enough mils in the set-up for 1000 yd shooting. But dang, that'll be fun to watch at < 300. Need to call some friends in Ala to see if they'd like to explode some of their piggies this spring. Wow, 100 yds or less on a green field. Red geysers.
