Give H380 or 414 a try. I use 380 and 414 with 55gr BTs. I use 51gr. I have never used the 58s but the Hodgdons powders are really good. HAPPY HUNTING

My buddy uses Varget or 4320 with the lighter bullets, and Reloader 15 as well. Something in that range should work well with the lighter slugs. A 1-14" twist will never shoot anything over 80 grains very well.

I had a 6BR with a 1-14" twist, it wasn't very happy even with 70s.....

There are some issues that you need to resolve.

1. Examine Crown
2. De-copper barrel (not likely, but a possibility)

The 1-14 twist will stabalize the 75g Sierra, and all 70g Bullet weights and lighter.

H380, 760, and H414 are the go to powders for all those bullet weights.

Also, 46.0-47.0g of IMR or H 4350 with the 70's is also a generic load that performs very well.

Good luck!

The bore has been cleaned with about everything made.2 inches cut off and recrowned. The lighter the bullet the less yaw.I'm thinking it might not be going fast enough.

I concur with the good info given above by Ruger 243223...

if you don't think you have enough velocity..50 grains of H 380 will give 4000 fps with a 55 or 60 grain bullet out of a 22 inch barrel in my 243s...

if you are just trying to get it to accurately shoot and stabilize a light bullet, if you have any SR 4759 or Blue Dot:

try 20 grains of SR 4759
or 18 to 20 grains of Blue Dot..

not the fastest loads, but in my experience, to see if a rifle with shoot accurately or not.. if it won't stabilize or shoot those semi accurately...then it is a junk barrel..
these have proven to still be able to give good service in barrels that have otherwise been shot out..

I use 44.5 grs of Varget in my Marlin XS7 for just over 5/8 inch, and they run at @ 3680 with the 22 inch tube, and Fed 210's, I stopped there as that load will work just fine on yotes, more fun shooting than working up loads

"The problem:Every weight bullet [115 to 70]keyholes[Note it is accurate the bullets will go in almost one hole]"

That's a problem? Few of us can accomplish that kind of accuracy going point on!

Okay, sounds like your bore may be oversized OR it may have a hard, tight ring in front of the chamber. Either one would result in bullets rattling down the rifling and that causes tumbling. See if you can't get it checked by a gunsmith.

I have a 6mm06 that has a 1in 14 twist that had the same problem with the larger bullets but with 58 or 55 grainers it will drill a thumb tack at 100yards the powder I use is Varget.

It is better to have it and not need it , than to
need it and not have it ( by master gunsmith & very wise friend )
