I need a 700 barrel in Stainless in 25-06. Either a takeoff or custom no larger than a #2.

I have a factory remington 700 25-06 barrel that is 24" long overall with sights, that is blued. I think(not sure though) it a older barrel that was made of stainless and blued. the blueing is not real bright which is another reason I think its made of stainless. It appears to be a new take-off, I had it longer then I can remember much about where it came from. Magnet test dont work on remington barrels as both stainless and steel both are magnetic. I just can not guarantee it is stainless for sure.
If your interested I'd let it go for 75.00 shipped to lower 48, AK a tad more.

I have seen old 700's in 300 Win mag and 7mm mag with the blued stainless barrels. Don't know if they did that with the 25-06, perhaps?

Chris Snow on snipers hide.com had a .257 barrel blank on the hide, He is a Mississippi boy as well, look in the Optics and assesories for sale section
