Yep off a bench with a Sinclair rest. 55 grain Bergers and I save all my targets and have no problem emailing pics to anyone interested.

Dunno. Nothing wrong with this one or the other 3 I own. This thing has shot groups that look like one .40 cal hole.

i have two of them junk factory remington barrels that I shoot under .75s all day long with junk glass, garbage them barrels are
guns to me are like legal crack

I had bad Hart barrels and Shilen barrels before shict happen and a few bad ones do get out, not saying remingtons barrels are top notch but had alot of them shoot damn nice groups, I have 3 700VS in 223 and they all have Leupolds 6X18 on top and they all 3 will shoot 1/4" groups and under with the same reloads (28.0grs of H4895 Sierra 50gr blitz)

well then you guys have some good barrels i never said any bad now did i ?
but i did once have a 260 rem titanium when they first came out , i couldnt wait to get rid of that p.o.s. after i shot it and looked at the chamber job with a borescope then i sent it back to remington > the one they sent me to replace the one i sent them looked like it was a used rifle and the chamber on it was not any better, never shot it just sold it
i have several remingtons factory rifles that shoot very well also , i see didn't any indication as to what barrel was on the rifle in the original post

when when rem came out with the 260 they had the wrong twist in them if I remember right
