I have a Browning BSS that Im thinking about selling and need to get some idea of what it is worth and what the market is like on them right now.

Here is the info:

Browning BSS, 26 inch, LOP has been legthen, to what Im not sure I would say 15.5, stock has not been cut. Choked IC Mod, just a nice old gun.

What is it worth?

Thanks in advance.

Well the 20's are bringing a premium, but the I see the 12's fairly often for about $1000 give or take a few. You might want to check gunbroker and see if anyone is bidding them up.

Good luck,

I did, and most guys want over 1000 in 12 guage, the 20s are asking (wish they told you what they sold for) over 1500 and up to 3000! Im looking for a "real" number.

Thanks Weagel, hell of a nice buck by the way. What did that deer gross? Is that a GA buck?

Passport, you have to sign in to see the closed auctions. I logged in and most of the ones that actually sold went for $750 to $950, so I might have been a little high. Lots of folks asking over a grand, but they are going unsold.

regarding the deer. I killed it down in South GA a couple of years ago. I never had it scored, but it's a pretty nice one.

Several for sale locally in the recent past. All in the $650- $800 range, used, not abused.
