Well I finally picked up this well worn 12ga field grade. I need a pad put on it and some minor stock cracks addressed around the receiver. I also want it gone through to make sure it is sound and safe.
Just who do you guys know of that could take care of this?

A friend of mine recently had Turnbull restore a LC Smith made in 1940 and a Fox made in 1926. Both turned out beyond amazing. Turnbull is a little pricey, but his restorations are historically correct. About $3500 per gun.

Iwouldn't send it to Briley that is one thing for sure.
Turnbull does nice work. Not sure I would send it to him for a pad and stock work.

I have never used them but have seen a few jobs done by them. I would recommend taking a look at The Stock Doctor.
