Had lunch with a guy today, and we got to talking guns. He said he had an old Ithaca shotgun, and was describing how it looked. I pulled up a picture of an A5 on my phone, and he said "yep, that's it".
Did Ithaca ever make/import an A5 or A5 clone?
Thanks,
Dan

"Yep, just like that. Had a barrel, a stock, and a piece of wood on the front to hold on to."
It takes a village to raise an idiot.

I had an older guy tell me he had a Luger that he might sell so I asked him to see it.
He produced a Ruger standard model .22 autopistol and after realizing it was not, in fact, a Luger, tried to tell me it was an exact copy........

Well I finally got pictures, and it is in fact an A5...a Browning A5. Mystery solved.
It looks to be in decent shape. 16ga. Any idea on value?

A Doe walks out of the woods today and says, that is the last time I'm going to do that for Two Bucks.

looks to be in decent shape.. it's an OLD A-5 (old style safety) buttstock appears to be cracked and it looks like its been restocked (checkered forarm but not on buttstock). If barrel isn't cut or rusted I would guess between 350 / 450.

I personally wouldn't go over $350...and I love both A5s and 16ga. I'd be a lot more comfortable at $300.
