Those who would lecture us on the value of clean water have left behind a legacy of environmental degradation. Now its up to the locals and US Army Corps. to clean it up. The Missouri and Cannonball rivers are threatened as warmer weather approaches. http://www.kfyrtv.com/content/news/...th-environmental-disaster-413756173.html

Leave it there. They wanted the protest. It's their problem.

Sounds like the folks that really care about the environment are trying to act in a timely manner...
Lesson to be learned - Do not let "protestors" do this again and send Soros the bill for cleanup...

It needs to be cleaned up. It is in the flood plain, which this year has a guarantee of flooding a lot with our snow pack.
It will wash into the river/lake and be a mess for all, not just the Reservation.
The protest organizers, protestors, and tribe should be sued for this pollution.

I live near a Reservation. What was left there in ND is just one of those great ironies of life-similar to some other noted minorities, who protest by burning down their own neighborhoods. If Native American communities in other areas would show their outrage of this garbage publicly, and went there and cleaned it up, it would do much to change my jaded opinions. But I won't hold my breath. Trying to make those responsible, responsible, you'll get some "sovereign nation" BS thrown in your face.
I'm so tired of it all, maybe its time I move.

We may know the time Ben Carson lied, but does anyone know the time Hillary Clinton told the truth?

Lesson to be learned - Do not let "protestors" do this again and send Soros the bill for cleanup... If the NA reservation sanctioned the Soros-paid protesters, or were paid themselves by him, the devil is in the details. The big concern for me is the Progressive infiltration of the Native American communities. I saw some of this happening within their school system, by Lefty pro Muslim teachers hired, and new agenda focus touted by NA locally. They were ripe for the picking. They were rubbing elbows with the NAACP not too long ago, after being fed the "oppressed peoples" pablum rhetoric by that group. Uneasy feeling since Trump was elected.

I read somewhere that ND was going to try to go after the protesters that got paid to do it. If they can in fact find out who paid them, they should go after the people who hired the protesters for the clean up costs.

Who is doing the clean up. Thought I read the clean up is being done by the Indians cause they know about a flood plain. Yes, the Standing Rock tribe was doing the cleanup. It was estimated that there would be at least 250 dump truck loads of trash/excrement to haul away. They only did something like 25 truck loads the first week. They are already out of time for the most part, as we are having record-high temps later this week, and it is already a muddy mess with melt about to come down river. The Tribe refused help that was offered in clean up to start with, when everyone knew it wouldn't get done fast enough. It's too late now.

And now it is to late, that chit is gonna get flushed from the camp to the dam in Pierre SD....its amazing how the tribe went from a supporter of the protesters to asking them to leave....the Tribe knew it was gonna cost a fortune to clean up their chit. The casino is broke......Come and gamble with us, and get a voucher for the money you win....yeah we will ahem pay it ahem maybe, if we can....

Leave that cshit there, tell those lazy ass Indians to clean it up. The trash is in the flood plain which is already receiving water this week. The trash and excrement will be floating downriver by Sunday evening. There is no longer any way for it to be cleaned up. The Standing Rock chose not to do it soon enough nor quickly enough, knowing full well that it would wash away and be somebody else's problem in the end.
