I've recently picked up a few Freedom Arms revolvers in 454 Casull and then found a really good deal on 30 boxes of 300 grain Hornady ammo and 10 boxes of 240 grain. As you can imagine, I'd probably suffer some sort of neurologic issue if I shot it all through the pistols, so I'm looking for a lever rifle to shoot it. I've searched far and wide and it looks like Rossi is the only one who makes one in a model 92. Haven't been able to find one online or otherwise. Please let me know if you guys have one you are willing to part with or know where one might be. I'd prefer the stainless model. I'm going to be checking some more local shops over the holidays but thought I would start here!
I sure wish Marlin would make one of these.
Thanks!
Joe

Davidson's is showing one of the SS 92's as allocated which means their larger/favored dealers might be able to get one.

Thanks, ccd. I went and stood in line for an hour at our largest gun shop in the Portland area (this ar-15 thing is crazy right now) just to talk to a person who worked there and to my surprise, they had one. Stainless with 20" barrel. Shot it for the first time yesterday. Amazing how even the full power Casull loads belt you a bit in a rifle! Sure shoots great and the action is surprisingly smooth and handles 45LC like butter too.

I love my 92 454. I currently run a ghost ring with a red fiber front sight, but just ordered a scout mount to set it up with my 4x Leupy that didn't have a pistol to live on.
Check out Steves Gunz for accessories, tools, and an education about your new purchase. I've had a first rate experience dealing with him. His video on maintaining the model 92 was a huge help for me also.
