Pack arrived a few days ago (with the X-curve frame). Spent about two minutes fitting it and loaded a 50 pound sack of fertilizer for a quick hike. I spent about 40 minutes on the biggest hill within 100 miles of here before I had to go. My initial impression is that this is the most comfortable pack I've ever used (I own a Kifaru Late Season and a KUIU Icon Pro). I'm looking forward to spending more time underneath it but I'm confident that I made the right choice.
As an aside, I am also loving my La Sportiva Trango Cube GTX boots. I have a dozen or so miles on them so far and they are extremely comfortable. These are the only boots besides the Soloman Quests that don't give me heel blisters within minutes. Guys with narrow heels should give them a look.
Both the pack and boots will get a good workout on my sheep hunt this year but I'm feeling good about both at this point.
