A mule deer in the head with a .45 and it got dead. An antelope with a .357 SIG, dead again. A bunch of jackrabbits with a 9x19, a bunch of dead jackrabbits altho not as many as I shot at. A lucky shot on a praire dog with a Smith 29, all I could find was the hindquarters with about an inch of spine sticking out of them.
Most all of this took place at 50 yards or less, mostly less. There seems to be a common thread in all this, no?

I think all those threads we are seeing is an attempt to mock the original "what have you shot?" 9mm and 40 S&W.
Which I don't understand, because I personally like to read about real world bullet performance in a variety of circumstances.

I think my BEST handgun shot was a prairie dog at about 45 yards, with a 3" Rossi snubby .38 special. Damned unlucky PD, at that, too.
I used to shoot my various handguns so much, the rheumatologist told me to quit, if I wanted to keep using my hands/wrists.(shot IPSC matches 3 times a week, for something like 15 consecutive years). Didn't just focus on 1911s. I'd try various things, just for giggles, and hunted some with pistols, too. I just shot a helluva lot. That PD shot is the most memorable, but I'm sure I've made other shots that were more "important" or noteworthy. The PDs are funner, though...........
You can roll a turd in peanuts, dip it in chocolate, and it still ain't no damn Baby Ruth.
