How much do you torque the action screws on a mod 700 rem bdl with wood stock and bbl floated. I know that 50 to 65 in. lbs is recommended for synth. stocks. Front screw? back screw? action is not bedded at this time. Thanks

Okay Pullit. Just tell us what word the terms are for making this request pop up in a search. A lot of my search terms bring up so many threads. In other words it is easier to ask again then read about a thousand threads because we don't have very good skills with the computor. And I bet I'm not by myself.

How tight do I screw the action back on?
It is about 2 or 3 months old.
If I were smarter I could give you a link but I found it under that title.

I like 35 in lbs front, 25 rear. The tang is not real strong on a 700.
