How long can I leave gun slick in the rifle? I left it in for about 5 hours last night and a few hours this morning, yet I am still getting plenty of blue from the barrel.

If you mean Gunslick foaming bore cleaner, it can be left in overnight but doesn't do much cleaning after an hour or so IME. Better off to patch it out and reapply every 30-60 minutes. After 2 or 3 doses it will get all the copper it's going to.

I am finding the same to be true with Wipe-out. I haven't found the foams to be the end-all cleaners I thought they would be. I am going back to Montana Extreme solvent and JBs compound.

I ended up putting the gunslick in several times. One time for about 6 hours, one time for about 3-4 and twice for an hour at a time. It definately helped alot, but I followed it up with come copper cream, and some hoppes extreme copper fouler. Finally got patches to look clean and hopefully the accuracy is back to where it was. It was slipping a little.
