Still in Payson. Haven't heard anything new, but I am heading up there to pay a visit on Satuday monring. I put a thread in the campfire section so I can pass along any messages anyone may want to send his way. https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbth...Number/3259086/gonew/1/Ken_Howell#UNREAD

Thomas,

I sent him a package to his NM address. Do you happen to know if he has received or is receiving them. Please pass on well wishes to him as well. Thanks

I don't know for sure if he has received the one you sent. I can tell you that a freind of his has been taking care of things at his place up in Quemado, so I would wager he has. I will try to remember to ask him about it though.

Love it....ranks right up there with Twain's "Rumors of my demise have been greatly exagerated!".

Hope you're doing as well as you sound, Ken.

Several hundred years ago, Plato said accurately that the unexamined life is not worth living. He'd've been just as accurate if he'd said that about "life" without a good sense of humor. When that's absent, nothing else can be worth much.

I didn't know Dr. Howell was having problems. Where is Payson?

Is it (don't answer please if considered none of my business) a major health issue? Only asking because I am concerned for him.

I'm sort of OK, I reckon what little is left of the useless ol' phardt after surgery to replace my broken hip, and six weeks of rehab.

It's sure good to be home again! (Spell "rehab" B, O, R, E, D, O, M.)

Thanks for wondering and best wishes to you 'n' yourn, now 'n' ever!
